Fort Wayne Holiday Guide

Musical Lights, Mega Trees, and Santa Mail... Oh my!

The Christmas parties have already started and children everywhere are counting down the days until Christmas. Take some time out of the hustle and bustle this year to check out some of the amazing light displays around Fort Wayne.

A great place to start is the iconic Santa display on the PNC Building downtown at Main and Berry and the Christmas wreath at Indiana Michigan Power. While you are downtown, you might also want to check out the holiday lights inside and out at the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory.

Another well-known light display is the drive-thru Fantasy of Lights at Franke Park. The Fantasy of Lights gets bigger and better every year, and at $10 a car load it’s a fun, inexpensive holiday event to do as a family.

Another option farther to the South is the lights and Christmas Tree show at the Jefferson Pointe Shopping Mall. Enjoy the tallest Christmas tree in Fort Wayne as it lights up, synchronized to music, every half hour between 6pm and 11pm. It’s the perfect way to end your trip out and about getting those last minute gift items.

Of course these are just a few of the MANY light displays around Fort Wayne. For a more complete list, go to the Visit Fort Wayne blog. There you will find a long list of displays organized by location with descriptions about what to expect at each stop. Some things you can expect to find in this list of displays are:

  • numerous synchronized light displays
  • an Indiana Hoosier tribute
  • mailboxes where you can mail letters to Santa
  • a canned food drive and sock collection
  • Santa’s sleigh taking off without him
  • hot chocolate nights
  • a snow illusion
  • and so much more!

We hope that you and your family enjoy the many light displays around Fort Wayne, and always remember to drive carefully as you admire the lights.  Happy Holidays from all of us at Boughter Sinak, LLC!
